Privacy Policy.

Last updated November 6, 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, book a call or work with us, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

Snowball Reach is a trading name of OEB Business LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17170588), registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. We’re the controller of your information. Questions or requests: elvis@snowballreach.com.

What we collect

When you visit our site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and what you do on them (for example adding your call to your calendar, swiping the sample post or opening a question), the page that sent you, and any tags in the link you clicked, such as the ad or campaign name. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Advertising and cookies and our Cookie Policy).

When you book a call: you book on Calendly, our scheduling provider. We get your name, email address, your Instagram handle, your answers to the booking questions (such as how Instagram is going for you and what you want from it), the time you pick and your time zone, plus your phone number if you add one for text reminders. Calendly passes your name, email address, the call time, your answers and a booking reference to our booked page.

Before and during the call: to prepare, we look at your public Instagram profile and posts. We take notes on the call.

When you contact us: what you send us, and your contact details.

If you become a client: your business contact details; what you tell us at setup about your business, customers and offers; the photos, logos and other material you send; the connection to your Instagram account and Facebook Page you give us through Meta’s login, which lets us publish posts and read their results; your posts’ results (such as reach, saves, followers and comments); and billing details. If you pay by card, your payment is handled by our payment provider and we don’t see your full card number. If we set up an automatic reply for your post keyword, it runs in your account, and we handle the comments and messages it covers only to run it for you, on your instructions.

We don’t ask for sensitive information (such as health details), and please don’t send it.

How we use it

UK data protection law requires a legal reason, called a lawful basis, for each use. Here’s what we do and why.

  • Book and hold your call, and send confirmations and reminders. Basis: steps you’ve asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in running calls that happen.
  • Prepare for the call by looking at your public Instagram. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Follow up after the call about working together. You can tell us to stop at any time. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Run and improve our website, and see which ads lead to booked calls. Basis: legitimate interests, and your consent where the law requires it for cookies.
  • Show our ads to people who’ve visited our site, and stop showing them to people who’ve already booked. Basis: your consent where the law requires it, otherwise legitimate interests.
  • Provide the service: make and publish your posts, send your reports, invoice and keep accounts. Basis: our contract with you, and our legal obligations.
  • Keep our site and systems secure, prevent spam and fraud, and comply with the law. Basis: legitimate interests and legal obligations.

We don’t make decisions about you based only on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Advertising and cookies

Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. For us, that means seeing which ads lead to booked calls, and showing our ads to people who’ve visited our site.

When you land on our booked page after booking, the pixel tells Meta a call was booked, with your answers to the booking questions. It may also send the email address and name from your booking (and your phone number, if Calendly passes it) in hashed (scrambled) form, so Meta can match the booking to an ad. Meta calls this advanced matching. Meta also uses the information it receives under its own privacy policy.

You can opt out of this use of your information for ad targeting:

Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie and storage item, what it does and how long it lasts.

Text reminders

If you add your phone number for text reminders when you book, Calendly texts you about that call on our behalf. We don’t send marketing texts. The texts can’t receive replies: to move or cancel, use the link in your email from Calendly, and to stop the texts, email elvis@snowballreach.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who run parts of our business for us: Calendly (scheduling and reminders), Google (video calls on Google Meet, email, documents, and the fonts on our site), Meta (advertising and measurement, and, for clients, publishing to your accounts), the tool we use to schedule and publish client posts, Cloudflare (our website host) and, for clients, our payment and accounting providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us, except that Meta also uses information it receives under its own policy.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganised. They’d have to treat your information as this policy says.

Their own policies: Calendly, Google, Meta, Cloudflare.

International transfers

We’re based in the UK. Some of our providers, including Meta, Calendly, Google and Cloudflare, process information in the United States and elsewhere. When your information leaves the UK, we rely on the UK–US data bridge for providers certified under it, the UK’s approved contract terms (the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum), or another safeguard UK law allows. If you’re in the US, your information comes to us in the UK.

How long we keep it

  • Booking and call records, if we don’t work together: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Client records: while we work together, then 6 years, to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements.
  • Browser storage set by our site: see the Cookie Policy.
  • Advertising data: our website audiences on Meta keep people for up to 180 days. Meta keeps what it receives under its own policy.

We may keep information longer if we need it for a legal claim.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • correct it, or delete it;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to our using it, including stopping marketing at any time;
  • send it to you or another company in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.

Email elvis@snowballreach.com. It’s free. We’ll reply within one month; if a request is complex we may need up to two months more, and we’ll tell you. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

US privacy rights

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas or another US state with a privacy law, you may have rights to know what we collect, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information or its use for targeted advertising. We give these rights to everyone, wherever you live, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.

We don’t sell personal information for money. Our use of the Meta Pixel to measure and target ads may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws. To opt out, use the steps in Advertising and cookies, or email us with “Opt out” in the subject line. You can also ask someone to act for you; we may ask for proof that they can.

In the last 12 months we’ve collected these categories: identifiers (name, email, phone, Instagram handle, IP address, cookie IDs), internet activity on our site, approximate location (from your IP address and time zone), and business information you give us or that’s public on your Instagram. They come from you, your device and public sources, and are used and shared as described above. We don’t collect sensitive personal information.

Do Not Track: our site doesn’t respond to Do Not Track signals. Use the opt-outs above instead.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first at elvis@snowballreach.com. We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you the outcome.

You can also complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113. If you’re in the US, you can contact your state attorney general.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses. They’re not meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when the way we handle information changes, and change the date at the top. If a change affects you in an important way, we’ll tell you directly where we can.
