This explains the cookies and similar technologies our website uses, what they do, and how to control them. Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels and browser storage (local and session storage).

What we use, in short

  • The Meta Pixel, to see which ads lead to booked calls and to show our ads to people who’ve visited our site.
  • Browser storage set by our booked page, to remember your call, count your booking once, and not ask you to save the call twice.
  • Fonts from Google, which load from Google’s servers. Google doesn’t set cookies for fonts, but it does receive your IP address when they load.
  • Calendly’s cookies, on Calendly’s own pages. You book your call there, not on our site.

We don’t use cookies to sell you anything on this site, and the site works without them.

Meta and your choices

Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. For us, that means seeing which ads lead to booked calls, and showing our ads to people who’ve visited our site.

When you land on our booked page after booking, the pixel tells Meta a call was booked, with your answers to the booking questions. It may also send the email address and name from your booking (and your phone number, if Calendly passes it) in hashed (scrambled) form, so Meta can match the booking to an ad. Meta calls this advanced matching. Meta also uses the information it receives under its own privacy policy.

You can opt out of this use of your information for ad targeting:

How to control cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data, block third-party cookies only, or browse privately, in their privacy or security settings. Blocking third-party cookies stops Meta’s own cookies working on our site.

If you block cookies and storage, the site still works. The booked page just won’t remember your call time if you reload it; your confirmation email from Calendly has every detail.

More information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and your rights. Meta’s cookie policy and Calendly’s cookie notice cover the cookies they set.

We’ll update this page when the cookies we use change, and change the date at the top.
